Please review the following information to learn more about what to expect when shopping at Ultimate Gaming Paradise and the service you shall receive.
The following information pertains to shipping orders from Ultimate Gaming Paradise (UGP) to you, our customer.
The official cut-off for same-day shipping is 2 PM, Monday – Friday. Any order placed after 2 PM on a weekday or anytime at the weekend will ship the next working day.
If an item is not going to ship at the typical time, then it will be marked as delayed dispatch via the cart and checkout where it says when an item will ship. This is quite common if we are expecting stock in a few days or your order requires some additional time to prepare.
All orders are shipped via a next-working-day delivery service. There is no intent for orders to be delivered on Saturday or Sunday, though they are on occasion. It all depends on the individual courier and if they happen to put it on a van on the weekend.
Late Deliveries & Delivery Charge Refunds
As frustrating and annoying as it is, deliveries do occasionally experience delays once they enter a courier’s network. There is a multitude of reasons for this that are out of our control. If we know there is going to be disruption to a courier’s service, we will publicise this — for example, Royal Mail strikes or exceptionally busy periods of the year around Black Friday and Christmas.
If your tracking information is being updated and showing that it is going to be an extra day, please do not panic — it’s an unavoidable element of online shopping. If an order is more than 48 hours late, then there is cause for concern. Please, at this point, get in touch with us and we can follow up with the relevant courier to see where your order is.
We are unable to rule an order as lost until it is 7 – 10 days (depending on the courier) late. At this point, we will begin the claim process from our side and get a replacement out to you.
We do not refund delivery charges for orders that are late due to a courier delay. We will only refund delivery charges if we are the direct cause of the delay — such as failing to dispatch an order on time — so please don’t ask!
If we offer a delivery charge refund, it is at our discretion. For us to refund a shipping charge when we’re not at fault, your order needs to be 3, or more, working days late.
Due to the increased checks at the border, required to get items through customs, please allow an extra day for items to be delivered.
