When Am I Charged?

When placing a pre-order payment is taken up front, and you will be charged the full amount when your order is placed. This does not affect your ability to cancel; you are free to cancel a pre-order right up until we dispatch the item to you.

Can I Cancel My Pre-Order?

Yes, you can. You are free to cancel your order whenever you may want. If you placed your pre-order while logged in, you can go to the Pre-Orders section of your account area and cancel pre-orders there. Alternatively, drop us a message on LiveChat with your Order ID and the email address, postcode and phone number you used to place the pre-order. We will be more than happy to then cancel the order for you.

Are Advertised Dates Guaranteed?

No, there are no guarantees that the date displayed when you place the pre-order is the date your order will be shipped. The dates advertised are based on the information we have received from distributors, manufacturers or publishers.

If a pre-orderable product’s dispatch date changes, you will be notified of the change via email.

Will The Price Change?

While for the majority of pre-orderable products the price is locked in and won’t change, on occasion it a price may need to be updated. For items where there is no confirmed dispatch or release date, this is due to the items being in short supply—such as with graphics cards in 2021.

With items such as this, should there be a price change, we will endeavour to absorb as much of an increase as possible. Should a price increase affect the total of your order, we will notify you via email, so you have the option to cancel the order. In an instance where our cost price goes down, we will pass that saving on to you and update your order to reflect the lower price. This will be done before your order is processed or via a partial refund issued upon completing your order.
