Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon mixes FromSoftware’s longstanding expertise in mech games with their unique action gameplay to provide the franchise with a fresh new, high-octane experience. Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will be released on August 25.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon requires players to create their mech from a wide range of parts and armaments in order to soar freely through task areas that redefine three-dimensional mobility. Outgun and overrun your adversaries with dynamic movement that takes full use of ranged and melee combat to overcome overwhelming opposition. Players may enjoy furious and fast-paced action that can only be achieved by using mechs.

On the isolated planet Rubicon 3, a curious new material was discovered. This chemical was predicted to significantly increase humanity’s technical and communication capacities as an energy source. Instead, it triggered a catastrophe that engulfed the planet and surrounding stars in flames and storms, resulting in the formation of the Burning Star System.

Almost a half-century later, the same chemical has reappeared on Rubicon 3, a planet that has been poisoned and locked off as a result of the disaster.

Extraterrestrial companies and rebel organisations compete for control of the material. The player infiltrates Rubicon as an independent mercenary and finds themselves at odds with companies and other organisations for the material.
