Royal Mail Friday, September 30 Strike Action

Royal Mail workers will be on strike again on Friday, September 30. This will, obviously, interrupt our order processing for a couple of days.

Any orders placed on Thursday will be shipped as usual, but delivery Friday will be interrupted.

Royal Mail does have a contingency in place for Tracked 24 services, which is our next-day service, so orders placed on Thursday for delivery on Friday will, for the most part, be unaffected.

Orders placed on Thursday using Two-day Delivery will likely not be delivered until Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

Any order placed on Friday will not ship until Monday – and then will be delivered in the usual timeframe based on the delivery method picked at checkout.

FIFA 23 Pre-Orders

FIFA 23 is released on Friday – the day of the strike.

Those who have pre-ordered with Launch Day Delivery will receive their order on time – there will be no delay or issues with the game being with you for launch day.

For those who pick the free, Day After Launch Delivery option – please don’t expect your order until Monday or Tuesday next week.

We advise, should you wish to receive FIFA 23 before the weekend, you pick the Launch Day Delivery option at checkout.

Please remember that all retailers are affected by this strike and we all, with the exception of maybe Amazon, use Royal Mail to deliver video games as it is the most cost-effective delivery solution.
