In Ring Fit Adventure, you will explore an expansive world, battling enemies along the way using real-life fitness exercises. The new Ring-Con and Leg Strap accessories (included with the game) detect and measure the player’s real-world movements and turn them into in-game actions, like jogging in place to move your character through the world using the attached Leg Strap or squeezing the Ring-Con and turning that strength exercise into a powerful attack. With additional mini-games and workout routines, Ring Fit Adventure is a fun experience for players of all skill levels and lifestyles. Ring Fit Adventure turns a typical adventure game on its head as players squat, press and flex their way through challenges designed for a wide range of body types and levels of fitness experience.

To play the game, players attach the Joy-Con controllers from their Nintendo Switch system to the included accessories – one to the Ring-Con and one to the Leg Strap. The Leg Strap is attached to the player’s upper left leg, while the Ring-Con is held in both hands. The Ring-Con is a flexible electronic device that provides resistance and features a sensor that detects exertion and reacts to changes. In addition, Ring Fit Adventure can be tailored to the player’s skill level, so even if players don’t have experience with fitness, they can adjust the exercise intensity to suit their ability. This will let them continue every day at an activity level that’s comfortable for them.

Ring Fit Adventure is a new type of adventure game on Nintendo Switch which uses unique accessories that detect and measure the player’s real-world movements and turn them into in-game actions. The unique Ring-Con and Leg Strap accessories enable players to explore and battle in the game world using the power of real-world exercise.

With the Ring-Con in hand and Leg-Strap equipped, it’s time to set out on a fitness-filled quest that gives you a full-body workout! Use real-life exercises to explore a fantasy adventure world and defeat a bodybuilding dragon and his minions. Jog in place to traverse grass-swept plains or choose from various exercises to attack enemies in this workout that keeps you coming back for more.

If you’re looking for a more formal workout, you can create customisable workout routines, mixing exercises and minigames to help break a sweat. You can even track your performance with some estimated stats by using the Joy-Con (R)’s (sold separately) built-in IR Motion Camera, such as your heart rate and the number of calories burned from your workout. This way, you can make sure you’re hitting your goals.

Game features

In Adventure mode, defeat enemies with attacks based on over 60 real-world exercises as you traverse more than 100 levels in over 20 worlds. As you work through each level (and work up a sweat, too), you’ll earn experience points and collect ingredients to craft health-restoring smoothies.

Mix things up with Rhythm Game, a unique music-based mode and get your body moving to 17 beloved songs from the likes of Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, and more!

A Jogging option has been added to both Custom and Quick Play modes, letting you simply run through a variety of lush fields when you’re not in the mood to take down enemies!

Take the Ring-Con accessory with an attached Joy-Con controller (sold separately) on its own – without a Nintendo Switch. While you’re sitting at work or on a bench in a park, you can press and pull the Ring-Con to gain reps. Then, you can later sync the Ring-Con with your game to convert the stored reps into experience and in-game items for your character. Stay motivated and reap the rewards, both in and out of the game!
