Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – A Remake is Happening

There’s been a lot of love in recent times for revisiting and remaking some classic old games. One rumoured but never officially confirmed is a remake of the classic 2003 BioWare Star Wars game Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR).

In a MinnMaxShow interview on Tuesday, however, Jason Schreier, one of the industry’s top journalist, revealed that a remake of KOTOR, developed by Aspyr was indeed real and on its way.

Given the groundbreaking brilliance of BioWare’s original, and the depth of the storyline (which was somewhat subtly confirmed as Star Wars canon in 2020), there will be a lot of people queuing up to play this game.
